Mat has 19 years experience in residential building design, with over 15 years spent running his own business.

Since Mat was a youngster, he has always been passionate about architecture and design, and enjoys the challenges that come with tailoring a custom designed new home or renovation to suit its site, relevant regulatory requirements and most importantly, the dreams and practicalities of its inhabitants. 

Mat is a keen bookworm, motorcyclist, cyclist, and fully fledged caffeine addict. He loves nothing more than sitting down at the end of the day to spend time with his partner, Mel, daughter, Celeste, English Bulldog, Colin and Miniature Schnauzer, Daisy.

Mat is a member of Design Matters (formerly BDAV) and is a Registered Building Practitioner (DP-AD) with the Victorian Building Authority
